So gorgeous! Hiking here is relaxing and very peaceful. I was not expecting to enjoy this park as much as I did. It doesn't have the drama of the Rockies or some parks in Utah, but the mountains here are truly majestic.

Did an overnight backpacking loop with my son. Deep Creek, Pole Road, Noland Divide. Stayed at campsite 55. Beautiful weather. The smokies are a treasure and deserve way more than 5 stars.

Stunning views! My favorite hike was the Jump Off near the Charlies Bunion trail. Absolutely breathtaking. It was a cold hike but some of the trees had ice coating them which made for a unique and beautiful view!

Very enjoyable mountain views and we're able to see snow, which was fun. Only downside was that there were so many other visitors that parking was difficult at times

Another great national park. No entrance fee like so many others. Bravo for that. Very beautiful place in a very nice state, one that I only now discovered is up there with California and Utah on top of the list. (Pics taken with Samsung s20)

Wonderful place to visit and to hike. Waterfalls all around, easy and difficult trails, and awesome scenery.

I have been to National Parks that took my breath away and this one wasn't on that list. However, we like it. I recommend this place to those far from the country area or living inside the city. Yes, it is a pain to get here but once you come you have to enjoy the beauty of nature to levels you probably haven't experienced before. You'll ese beautiful creeks, even falls and possibly elks and bears. Be mindful to bring appropriate clothing and an appropriate vehicle too.

When I was single, I always do things beyond the imagination of others, such as deep mountain exploration. In autumn, I always lead a group of single friends who are also interested to go hiking, photography, camping, barbecue, or fishing. It is the most ideal place to achieve some dreams.
